Who can join the coalition?
All are welcome to the SCRC! Our community consists of people with lived experience with substance use, mental health, co-occurring challenges, family members or loved ones of people with behavioral health challenges, service providers, and our many allies.
Join a Committee
Committees exist so SCRC's work doesn't rely entirely on a small core team trying to do everything at once. Each committee takes ownership of one piece of the coalition's mission — strategy, money, fundraising, events, or advocacy — so volunteers can plug into the specific area that matches their skills or interests, decisions get made by people close to that work, and the coalition can operate sustainably as it grows rather than bottlenecking through one or two overworked leaders.
